The Struggle is Real

If you’re a Pakistani living abroad, you’ve probably faced this:
You open a website to watch your favorite news channel or listen to a radio station, only to be met with broken links, endless pop-ups, or the dreaded “Not available in your region” message.

For many of us, TV and radio aren’t just entertainment—they’re our connection to home. News bulletins, cricket commentary, talk shows, morning FM banter… they help us feel part of Pakistan’s heartbeat.

So how do you enjoy all that content legally and reliably, no matter where you are in the world?

1. Official Channel Websites & Apps

Many Pakistani news channels and FM stations stream live on their official websites or apps.
For example:

  • Geo News → geo.tv
  • ARY News → arynews.tv
  • PTV News → ptv.com.pk
  • FM 100 Pakistan → fm100pakistan.com

✅ Pros: Reliable, official sources
⚠️ Cons: You’ll need to remember multiple sites and deal with varying quality

2. YouTube Live Streams

Some TV channels and radio stations broadcast their content live on YouTube.
Search for the official channel name and look for the LIVE badge.

✅ Pros: Easy to access, works on most devices
⚠️ Cons: Sometimes geo-blocked or taken down without notice

3. All-in-One Platforms Like PakStream

Here’s where PakStream comes in. I built it because I was tired of searching 5–10 different sites every time I wanted to catch up.

On PakStream, you can:

  • Watch popular Pakistani TV news channels (Geo, ARY, Express, etc.)
  • Listen to top FM radio stations (City FM 89, FM 100, Mast FM 103, and more)
  • Follow independent Pakistani journalists on YouTube

✅ Pros: One-click access, clean design, no pop-up spam, mobile-friendly
⚠️ Cons: Still growing — not every channel is listed yet (but you can suggest!)

Some streaming services (like Sling TV, YuppTV, or JadooTV) offer Pakistani channels in their packages.

✅ Pros: High quality, legal
⚠️ Cons: Paid subscription required

5. Avoid Pirated Streams

It’s tempting to click on unofficial free streams you find on random sites, but those often:

  • Violate copyright laws
  • Contain malware or harmful ads
  • Shut down without warning

Always choose legal sources to ensure content creators and broadcasters are supported.

When you use legitimate sources:

  • Broadcasters get paid for their work
  • Journalists and content creators can keep producing quality content
  • You avoid the frustration of broken, low-quality, or unsafe streams

Final Word

Whether you prefer the heated debates on TV or the relaxed banter of FM radio, you don’t have to miss out just because you’re abroad.

Start with the official sources, check YouTube, and save PakStream as your go-to bookmark for a one-stop, clean, legal way to stay connected to home.
